Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound Sound quality is top notch, very nice look and one of the coolest unboxings I have done for something so small. they put a lot of effort into the packaging. My only complaint is the price is a little high for earbuds that don't even have an in line remote. I think $80 would be a very fair price and $100 for the ones with remote. But all in all I'm very happy with my purchase. 5 stars

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent... I have always used Shure in-ear monitors, and even had custom molds made for some of them. However, I bought a set of these N20U earbuds after being so happy with my AKG Q701 over-ear phones. I much prefer these to the Shure. My last set of Shure, the SE425, were not comfortable at all....they are too big and press against the ear, even with the custom molds they are uncomfortable. These N20s fit just right and you almost forget they are in. I compared them side by side to the 425s and I prefer the warmer sound of the N20s. These are my headphones of choice for on-the-go, while the 701's remain my favorite for at-home phones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality work the price I've had these headphones for about 3 weeks now and I'm completely satisfied. The braided cord seems to be perfect for durability and the earbuds are comfortable. Sound quality is top notch and I find myself list in my music often. This is without the music being at loud volumes also. The carrying case is small and protective. I have no issues carrying my headphones in it and tossing it into my backpack.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not worth the money I bought these to replace a set of JBL wireless headphones that died in just over a year (how convenient no warranty) Anyways, I figured instead of buying new headphones every year due to the batteries dying, I’d buy a set of wired ones (bad idea.) The cords snag on everything and they get ripped from your ears very easy. If you are an active person don’t even think about purchasing these. Also, the sound sucks

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not bad but overpriced compared to similar quality I have used AKG headphones for 3 decades and have enjoyed the sound quality and fit. I thought I'd try the AKG earbuds, too, since I like the sound and fit of most earbuds. The N20's sound fine. Fit is fine, but I also find that my $30 Philips or my $30 Earpods sound and fit just fine, also. - I am a very experienced audio engineer with an honest and accurate opinion.

What is the difference between these earbuds and the N20U earbuds?

Asked by: Sovereign
The N20 does not have a microphone, just a straight cable where the N20U has the universal 3 button mic for both iOS and Android.

Do these earbuds come with a microphone for taking calls? I am about to buy them because I went through two pairs of $150 Sennheisers in 3 months... but need to ensure I can use them for phone calls. Thanks

Asked by: Luke

Hi my right earbud is a lot softer than the left. Bought them in November last year.

What you are experiencing with the N20 is not normal. Try a different source to isolate the issue. If your source has a balance control please check and make sure that it is set in the middle. I noticed that you are in South Africa. If you are still experiencing issues, please contact the store where you purchased it from and they will be able to help.
