Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing- But AKG please READ! I absolutely love these headphones, they're phenomenal. BUT, for comfort, for your next K series headphone PLEASE make the earpads a little bit thicker while using the same materials. This way people's ears wont touch the driver! That way it would be a perfect headphone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great, comfortable HP. Great looking. Bought for an open air, expansive sound and wasn't disappointed. One of my most comfortable headphones (out of 12 sets). Love the colorway. I custom made a shorter cable, about 4'.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great phones for musicians Love these headphones, I wear phones for hours at a time and the comfort level is fantastic. My only disappointment is that AKG only offers the coil cord for replacement. I love the orange straight cord but due to so many hours of hard use it bit the dust. Other than that they're such a great value for the quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great!!!!! These are great, and really has that open feel. I only wish I could carry them across every genre i work in. I do music for TV/Film, and although they are awesome sounding, going into bassier genres, I must rely on something else. Also, are these FLAT to mix from?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Extremely Comfortable The outstanding feature to these headphones is the comfort when used for long listening sessions. The sound is good, pleasant and listenable, if not as precise or detailed as a pair of Stax I own. There is a bit of warmth in the lower registers, this isn't ideal on some female vocals, but jazz and orchestral music sounds great. The headphone amp I am using drives them very easily.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great sound, really comfortable, slight downside So I really hope AKG reads these because I'm going to try to make this as easy as possible. Their great, overall their awesome. But here's the issue.....why is it so hard to replace the bands on the self adjusting headset? What possible reason could their be to make that so difficult. Please for the love of music make that less complicated.

Are the these the same as k7xx?

Asked by: Georgemic
The K7xx are made in china and as the last answer said a refined version of AKG K702 65th-anniversary edition. In my opinion the build quality of the 712 and 702 is better.

Hi AKG. I cannot find any information on the driver size of my AKG712 Pro's. Not on the box, and not on the web. Different resellers give conflicting information, between 40 and 60 mm. Could you tell me the driver size? Thanks

Asked by: hubert
The AKG712 comes with 4 cm driver size. Please contact your local AKG Pro Customer Support for further spec and product information, thank you!
