Can you confirm the AKG K171 MKII Headphones are still being made in Austria! And how is the sound leakage so others will not be disturbed when one is wearing them?

Asked by: ProfessorBop
Designed and engineered in Austria by AKG Acoustics. Made in Popular Republic of China. I have a K 171 mkII and the isolation is full..top!! studio recording sessions (drums) with "cream de la cream" mics like AKG - Cs, Perceptions, Ds...and mics catch only the instrument...not a headphone leak. Sure the problem is on that specific headphone..or not!
