Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best sound quality headphones I have right now I brought these from a co-worker who found them online. After listening to them for 2 minutes I had to buy me a pair. The highs are crisp and clean the bass is rich, smooth and full and the mids are defined and provide great imagery. They actually sound my Bose bluetooth OE headphones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top Bluetooth Headphones Bought these headphones 2 months ago, they are top draw. How they have been able to create such clarity without them being wired is a miracle. Well done to AKG they have really nailed it for me. The battery life just goes on and on. EXCELLENT ! Would recommend these headphones.. 5 stars definitely...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better Charing Question The battery charing red light dimmed after about 5 minutes. I left it there for over six hours and it's charged. Is there any way to "reset" the headset to make the LED light functioning again? Also, headset is unable to turn on when charging ( USB plugged in) ; Is that normal?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All good! I have lost sooo many 'phones it ain't funny. Been looking at these for a while as I like bluetooth for the tube etc (no wire to get trapped in the doors!) anyhow, long story short. These are amazing. Sound 5/5. Build 5/5. I love 'em.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Insane battery life & sound quality These headphones are the best gift I've received handsdown. The bluetooth capability allows a freedom of movement from the transmitting device that you never thought you needed (but do), the battery life is beyond more than enough, and they sound amazing. Super happy with these!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best BT headphones I've had. After being dubious with some previous experiences over cheaper BT headphones I took What Hi-Fi's advice with these and I wasn't disappointed Straight out of the box I was blown away by these. They are a good solid build quality and sterling sound performance. I'm also lucky enough to own a phone aptX capable which means the Bluetooth performance is just solid as a rock. I was also a bit dubious about the audio performance; I'm a bit hard pressed when it comes to this but I sheerly wasn't disappointed. Solid bass notes; not saturated and bright crisp high end. Truly replaced the goosebumps back to some of my favourite tracks

I have charged by C50BT and it displayed a red charging light which goes out after a while of charging. However when I then press the button to power on and off nothing happens. I have only had the headphones for about 10 months

Asked by: jamielr
Hi, and thank you for supporting AKG! This is obviously wrong. If this used to work as intended, either the battery or the button itself must be damaged now. This is a case for your warranty, unless of course you caused it by subjecting the headphones to water or hard knocks or the like. So, next step is to go back to the place of purchase with the headphones and your proof of purchase to claim warranty coverage.

Hi, I just got mine, but it doesnt turn on, I am charging it and the red charging light turns on but it still wont turn on. do I have to leave it all night charging? or what can I do?

Asked by: emolina88
Hi! Typically, the charging time for the AKG Y50BT is 2.5 hours from 0-100%. In some cases, the LED light would keep on while charging the unit, but will not turn off once it's fully charges, no matter how long charging continues and will show a constant light indicator. This is caused by tolerances in the circuits, and is no cause for alarm. The battery is charged to the same level. If the LED is not turning off when the Y50BT at full charge, please submit an case on https://us.akg.com/support-returns-and-warranty.html and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to further assist you.

Hi, with my first pair of these headphones after 2 weeks the left speaker became detached from the band, just being held on by the wire. I got them replaced but now the same thing has happened again and I'm out of warranty. What can I do to fix it?

I received these headphones today. They wont turn on and the right hand ear pad has fallen off who do I need to contact please

Asked by: chrisbaylis
Hi. That sure sounds bad. Did you buy a re-certified product in our Outlet store? That could explain that the headphones are not charged, but not the loose ear pad. Anyway, the first step will be, as always, to charge the battery overnight. you switch the headphones on by pressing the on/off button briefly. It sits next to the audio cable socket. You will get a confirmation tone after a few seconds, and Bluetooth pairing will be activated. The ear pad is very easy to install: simply lead the lip into the groove all the way round, until it is back in position. If you bought the headphones directly from the JBL web shop, you should contact the customer service helpdesk. Look on the JBL web page, under the header Support. Here you will find email form, phone number and chat link. If you bought them from another source, you must contact the place of purchase.

To move songs to the next track, please toggle up the switch on the right ear cups. Alternatively, toggle the switch down to go back to the previous track.

Hi, if audio qulity is the main priority (source is iPhone standard resolution music) - is it still true that BT headphones' quality is behind the wired ones? Choosing between Y50BT and K451 (or K550). thanks

Asked by: AndreyN
Hi! Audio quality actually depends on the signal to noise ratio of the device. It will also depend on the audio format of the file from your source, it is important that they are converted to a lossless or uncompressed file format such as Apple Lossless, AIFF or WAV.
