The headphone amplifier shall provide inputs for up to eight SR 4000 or SR 450 receivers. It shall have an on/off switch, combined push/jog control, a 1/4" TRS jack for connecting a pair of headphones, and eight 1/4" jacks on the rear panel for connecting SR 4000 or SR 450 receivers using the supplied audio cables. An eight-LED bar shall indicate which channel is currently being monitored. A short push on the push/jog control shall select the input channel to be monitored and turning the control shall set the desired monitoring level. A long push shall mute the headphone output. The headphone amplifier shall include a rack mounting kit, operate on 12 VDC, measure 200 x 190 x 44 mm (WxHxD), and weigh approx. 800 g.
