D 3800 WL 1 The microphone element shall be a studio-quality dynamic design with a frequency independent hypercardioid polar pattern and a threaded connection, for use with AKG handheld transmitters. A Maximum Flux neodymium magnet shall be used to achieve a high output level. The transducer shall be provided with a patented Moving Magnet suspension system for footfall, handling, and cable noise rejection and hum-bucking coils to suppress interference from stray magnetic fields. The microphone element shall perform to the following specifications: Frequency range: 40 Hz to 21 kHz; sensitivity at 1 kHz: 2.8 mV/Pa; electrical impedance: 600 ohms; max. SPL for 3% THD: 156 dB; signal/noise ratio (A weighted): >74 dB. The microphone element shall measure 53 mm in diameter by 78 mm long, have a matte black finish, and weigh 182 grams.
