D 3700 WL 1 The microphone element shall be a dynamic design with a hypercardioid polar pattern and a threaded connection, for use with AKG handheld transmitters. A neodymium magnet shall be used to achieve a high output level. The transducer shall be provided with a shock mount for footfall, handling, and cable noise rejection and an internal windscreen for protection from wind and pop noise. The microphone element shall perform to the following specifications: Frequency range: 60 Hz to 18 kHz; sensitivity at 1 kHz: 2.5 mV/Pa; electrical impedance: 800 ohms; max. SPL for 3% THD: 156 dB; signal/noise ratio (A weighted): >72 dB. The microphone element shall measure 53 mm in diameter by 78 mm long, have a matte black finish, and weigh 172 grams. The microphone element shall be the D 3700 WL 1 from AKG.
