The microphone shall be a hypercardioid miniature condenser clip-on microphone for use on accordions, guitar amplifiers, pianos, etc. It shall be fitted with a shock mounted transducer housing to compensate for mechanical noise, a swivel joint integrated in the microphone arm for continuous adjustment to various instruments, and an installation plate (H 416) for direct attachment to an instrument by inserting the microphone into the installation plate. The microphone shall be designed for wireless use and hardwire use with external powering via an AKG B 29 L battery supply or AKG MPA III L phantom power adapter. The frequency range of the microphone shall be 20 Hz to 20 kHz, its sensitivity at 1 kHz 7 mV/Pa, max. SPL 130 dB SPL (for 3% THD), signal/noise ratio 63 dB (A-weighted). The microphone shall measure 235 x 30 mm, be finished in matte black, and weigh 55 g.
