The microphone shall be a hypercardioid miniature condenser clip-on microphone for use on wind instruments. It shall be fitted with a shock mounted transducer housing to for compensate mechanical noise, a swivel joint integrated in the microphone arm for continuous adjustment to various instruments, and a clamp for direct attachment to an instrument. The microphone shall be available in a version for hardwire use with external phantom powering (C 419 PP) and in a version for wireless use or powering via an AKG B 29 L battery supply (C 419 L). The frequency range of the microphone shall be 20 Hz to 20 kHz, its sensitivity at 1 kHz 7 mV/Pa, max. SPL 130 dB SPL (for 3% THD), signal/noise ratio 63 dB (A-weighted). The microphone shall measure 180 x 35 mm, be finished in matte black, and weigh 141 g ("PP" version) or 77 g ("L" version). The microphone shall be the C 419 made by AKG.
