This condenser clip-on microphone has been designed specifi-cally for wind instruments including saxophone, trumpet, trom-bone, tuba, etc. The C 419 is also en excellent choice for per-cussions such as Udu drums, cajón, and frame drum, or as an alternative to the C 418 on the snare drum. A frequency-inde-pendent hypercardioid polar pattern reduces spillover from neighboring instruments to a minimum. A rubber coated clamp ensures easy attachment to the bell of a horn or the sound hole of a cajón, and a 4.3-inch (110-mm) adjustable gooseneck allows precise microphone alignment.
