C 5900 WL 1
The microphone element shall be a studio-quality hypercardioid condenser design with a threaded connection for use with AKG handheld transmitters. The condenser transducer shall use an extremely thin, gold-sputtered diaphragm for excellent sound and transient response. The transducer shall be shock mounted in a three-point suspension for suppression of footfall, handling, and cable noise. A multi-layer internal windscreen shall minimize wind and pop noise. The frequency range of the microphone element shall be 20 Hz to 22 kHz; its sensitivity at 1 kHz 6 mV/Pa; max. SPL for 3% THD 142 dB; and its A weighted signal/noise ratio 74 dB.
The microphone element shall measure 50 mm in diameter by 75 mm long, have a matte black finish, and weigh 148 grams.
The microphone element shall be the C 5900 WL 1 from AKG.
