The microphone shall be an ultra-lightweight omnidirectional condenser microphone with a behind-the-neck arch and a dual-diaphragm transducer element for maximum cable and handling noise rejection. The front grill shall be detachable for cleaning and the transducer element replaceable. A special, patented transducer design shall include a passive auxiliary diaphragm for barometric pressure compensation that seals the transducer and makes it watertight. An additional moisture shield shall protect the transducer from perspiration. An adapter for use in place of the standard front grill shall provide a high-frequency boost of approx. 6 dB at 12 kHz.
The frequency range of the microphone shall be 20 Hz to 20 kHz; its sensitivity at 1 kHz 8 mV/Pa; max. SPL for 1% THD 133 dB; and its A weighted signal/noise ratio >68 dB.
The microphone shall measure 5.5 mm in diameter by 14 mm long; the cable shall be 1.5 m long.
The microphone shall have a female 3-pin mini XLR connector, use a-b powering from the bodypack transmitter, draw a current of approx. 0.6 A, and have a matte black finish. Its net/shipping weight shall be 15 grams/325 grams.
The microphone shall include a windscreen and BP-77 adapter as standard accessories.
The microphone shall be the C 477 WR L from AKG.
