Want to check your multichannel wireless system from your iPhone? With the AKG Wireless iPhone App, you can monitor and control an AKG wireless system from your iPhone or iPod touch via Wi-Fi®.

The AKG Wireless iPhone App is the fastest and easiest way to check the wireless connection between a transmitter and a receiver on stage. It actually lets you check and detect radio shadow areas directly on the stage with the RF Monitor. If you rotate the iPhone/iPod touch from portrait mode of a stripe into landscape mode, the RF Monitor graph shows the Radio Frequency Level over time.

It’s all in the details
Within the device list, you can browse through your wireless system. Each wireless channel is shown as a list item. The name, radio frequency, device type and connected HUB 4000 Q name are provided. The stripe shows details of the wireless device, such as the device name, the radio frequency, the radio frequency level, the audio level and the battery life time of the transmitter microphone.

How does it work?
The wireless devices are connected through an AKG HUB 4000 Q to the HiQnet® network, which is connected to a Wi-Fi® router. The iPhone App controls and monitors the wireless system via Wi-Fi® by using the Harman HiQnet® protocol. The AKG Wireless iPhone App supports the professional digital wireless system DMS 700, the analog wireless microphone systems WMS 4000/4500 and the In Ear Monitoring system IVM 4 from AKG.

The AKG Wireless iPhone App works on all iPhone and iPod touch versions (OS 3.0 and higher). Multiple iPhone Apps and HiQnet System Architects™ can work simultaneously because the AKG Wireless iPhone App is built on the Harman HiQnet® protocol.
