For a casting show, twelve young actors shared an apartment and all their activities were recorded around the clock. C 417 L lavalier microphones and a WMS 4000 multichannel system were used to record all communication among the dwellers 24 hours a day.
Thanks to its excellent multichannel capability, fail-safe operation, and ease of setup, the WMS 4000 turned out to be the ideal choice for the extreme stress expected during the project.
The MCS 4000 control software made handling eighteen wireless channels extremely easy for the sound engineers. The high transmission and reception quality of the system allowed the antennas to be hidden in the clothes, and the actors wore the transmitters on their belts in attractive CB 40 bags.
The miniature transmitters and small, inconspicuous C 417 L lavalier microphones provide maximum intelligibility with no loss of comfort for the candidates and keep a low profile on camera.
