AKG Announces New Vice President of Marketing & Product Management, Alfred Reinprecht

AKG announced Alfred Reinprecht has taken the role of AKG Vice President for Marketing & Product Management, effective July 1, 2007. In this position, the longtime marketing and management expert is responsible for the global marketing strategy of the one of the most innovative audio brands available.

“With the addition of Alfred Reinprecht to our management team, we have completed a reorganization, building a strong, multifaceted alliance ready to take AKG to the next level,” said Stefan Gubi, President, AKG Acoustics GmbH. “I am very pleased that we now have Alfred on board, as his talents and dedicated managerial style will support additional company growth. We have committed ourselves to an even stronger brand position in the coming years and Alfred will be of excellent support in this pursuit.”

Alfred Reinprecht has earned an excellent business reputation not only in Austria, but across Europe as well. Reinprecht has held the positions of product manager and product marketing at Sony Austria and Telekom Austria, respectively.  In August 2000, Reinprecht began at Schrack BusinessCom (that later became Kapsch BusinessCom, Austrian IT-Systems Integrator). Within this company, Reinprecht held positions such as Division Lead Marketing & Product Management for Austria and Eastern Europe, as well as Head of Strategic Alliances and Purchasing.

“I have always had a strong passion for music, which makes it even more of a pleasure to now work for one of the biggest brands in professional audio,” explained Reinprecht. “My goal is to further develop and strengthen the AKG brand, leveraging its technical innovations for more global prominence.”
