AKG honored with Austrian Export Award


During the Export Awards Gala night of the Austrian Trade department of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber on April 24, 2008, Chamber President Christoph Leitl and Martin Bartenstein, Austrian Minister of Economic Affairs, chose Austria's most successful exporting companies. Among the top ten was AKG, an Austrian enterprise with a long tradition. This Vienna-based manufacturer of premium quality microphones and headphones received the Export Grand Prize 2008 in the Industry category.

From Austria to the world—there is hardly a company that would be more justified in using this slogan than AKG. This enterprise has been playing a leading role in Austria's exporting industry for many years. Based in Vienna, AKG exports about 98% of its output to almost 140 countries. Its headquarters and all R&D departments are located in Austria. In addition, AKG runs a high quality small-scale production facility for all its Premium series professional audio products in Liesing, a southern district of Vienna.
