A REALLY good headset?

Hi all!

We're recently tested the HSC 200 SR, and it was... OK - but not more than that. We liked the rugged construction, and we would have loved swapping out our fragile another competitor headsets. But unfortunately the HSC 200 SR simply didn't sound good enough! The mic was a bit thin and noisy, and the headphones lacked the clarity and details that the another competitor headset gives us.

AKG makes REALLY good mics, and REALLY good headphones - so why not combine them into a REALLY good headset..? Can such a headset perhaps be custom-built, based on the HSC 200 SR but using better elements and mic capsule?

All comments and ideas are welcome!
