Hi, I just recently purchased a never used AKG K141 monitor model. Apparently the seller said the only problem is that the earpads are pretty much melted away and need to be replaced. other than that the drivers and cables are in perfect condition because it is new. I was wondering where and how can I buy replacement pads for this VINTAGE k141. apparently I need to rip the pads off and glue on the new ones. Do I need the pads only or other accessories like a foam or rubber thing i heard? apparently it goes in between the pads and the unit itself?

Hi,

you will need to exchange the pads and the foam which covers the capsule.
If you order 2144 Z 0602 you will get pads with blue glue on it ( no extra glue needed ) and the foam has the codenumber 2144 Z 0801.
You local AKG dealer can get thes parts for you.

kind regards
