I got a pair of akg k480 nc's new from amazon and they broke a few months ago. I sent them back for a replacement, but haven't gotten a new pair, a phone call, an email, or anything for over three months. I'm worried that I'm not getting anything back at all (not even the original pair that I paid $200 for). I've tried calling customer service but it's always busy. I even went back to the post office to confirm that the originals were sent on time. I don't know what else to do besides ask a question here. I love akg and harman products but their customer service is a bit disappointing because of this.

Dear applerocks155,
If you buy a product from a company and it is defective then the dealer is responsible for all warrenty belongings. So its up to Amazon to exchange the defective K 480.
This has nothing to do with a bad customer service.

Well I sent the headphones back to the harman company because the akg person from customer support (through email) told me to send them back for a replacement, but i haven't gotten a replacement or the originals back and it's been over three months. It shouldn't take that long to replace them. I like akg a lot, but i wish they would at least give me back the original pair so I can attempt to fix them myself.

Actually someone from customer support emailed me and said that they were out of stock and that the replacement should be coming in about a month. Everything is fine now.
