Hi, I am wondering if there is a way to modify the 271mkII to get rid of the annoying auto-mute feature. Of course it is practical when the singer is dumb enough to take his headphones in front of the microphone but the big problem is 50% of the singers I record can't get ANY sound at all....Like their head is not the right shape...or hiar...i don't know, so I have to take an old pair of bad headphones to do the tracking. So is there any way I can modify them? I don't care if it involves opening them and break the warranty, I like the sound a lot but this feature is just non-sense. You can't even listen to music when lying down or if you turn your head sideways you also loose the sound! Help me plz Sad

Hi,

The mute switch is on the left side - it is a small finger on the bottom of the headband.
If you turn this finger 90 degrees then the mute function is off.

kind regards
