Hi, I am wondering if there is a way to modify the 271mkII to get rid of the annoying auto-mute feature. Of course it is practical when the singer is dumb enough to take his headphones in front of the microphone but the big problem is 50% of the singers I record can't get ANY sound at all....Like their head is not the right shape...or hiar...i don't know, so I have to take an old pair of bad headphones to do the tracking. So is there any way I can modify them? I don't care if it involves opening them and break the warranty, I like the sound a lot but this feature is just non-sense. You can't even listen to music when lying down or if you turn your head sideways you also loose the sound! Help me plz
