We have this microphone:

and are wondering what type it is. It only says "AKG" and no type or model. It doesn't seem to be listed in the product-list.

Does anyone have a clue?

Hello,

this is a D 880 - a dynamic mic mainly used for lead- and backing vocals.
It has a "supercardioid" characteristic, a frequency response from 60 to 20.000 Hz and a sensitivy of 2,5 mV.

kind regards

It does look like it, but this one has no on/off switch, which most of the Dxx serie does seem to have.

Thanks for your reply, though!

Yes there were 2 types - one with on/off switch and the other one without switch.
