Which is the best head phone for the person who listens music almost all the day... ? Most of the headphones are not working for more than 6 months. Please suggest a best brand.

AKG K 601 or 701 - for daily use and best sounding.
works for sure longer then 6 month ( from where do you have the 6 month theory ? )

Ya 702 is good, but like I mentioned once, I like 601 for me personally

had the same problem. the real cure is to slice a milimeter circumference off the rubber tubing on the headphone jack so that more of the metal jack is slightly

AKG 240DF all day and every day. i have them rewired with 18 gauge silver/copper wiring and terminated with 4-pin XLR jack cause i use them off of speaker outputs as well. they also seem to like not only a good amount of power but improves with very low output impedance of speaker outputs since speaker outputs are always close to 0ohms output impedance. my reference choice for everything from music to movies and even gaming. i heard a lot and owned plenty of headphones and nothing comes close to the realism they offer when powered right and fed a very revealing source. shame they're discontinued. i even like my balanced AKG 240 sexetts lp over rest of akg line-up and i heard and owned the 601 and 701. while the k601 is better than the k701 it's still not near as natural sound and revealing like my sextetts and DF's. only other headphone i love as much as my 240DF is  pair of balanced Sony SA5000 and my personally modded fostex. my opinion of course.
