I'm currently choosing between the above mentioned headphones, of which the latter is currently cheaper. What are the key differences between these two models?

Hi Velotech,

The K 701 has a fixed cable with a 6,3mm goldplug.
The K 702 has a detachable cable with a 3,5mm goldplug with an Adapter for 6,3mm.
Both models are sounding similar - the 702 is categorized as a pro model, the K 701 as a consumer model.
