Hi every body!
I am wondering if it is time to change my AKG K240 Monitor head phone? I bought it on 1985 and it still works fine!

Do the K240 MK-II is mutch better than my old K240 Monitor? Is it time to change my AKG K240 Monitor?

Thanks a lot to all of you for your help! Smiley

Are you sure?

How a 25 years hold head phone can be better as a bright new one??

Dear Arnaud,

it is not unusual that AKG users have their phones for 20 years or longer - as the K 240 Monitor is one of the most successful products AKG still has all parts to keep it alife the next 20 years :-)
But to be honest - the new series is fine anyway, the difference to your K 240 monitor is:
a lower impedance ( 55 Ohms )
a wider frequency range and a detachable cable.

kind regards
