Hi,
I bought K-701 on thomann.de 1month ago. There are same defects on both drivers Sad.

It might be the machine that makes the molds if the "defect" occurs on all these headphones.

Dear all,

the "defect" you mentioned on your K 701 drivers is only a cosmetically fault which had been corrected in the later series.
This will NOT affect the great sound of these phones.

I'm planning to buy AKG K701s, but I don't want pair with this defect. Do you know since which product number the issue have been fixed?
