I've been searching for a while for a good set of headphones and I'm really having a hard time deciding  between 4 headphones: the AKG K 242HD, the AKG 142HD, the K450 and the K 480.
I'm not into music production, but I highly value good, clear, crisp sound coming from headphones. I listen to a variety of genres of music, classical, rock, electronic, etc. I will be using the headphones everywhere, at home, in the metro, on the street, at work.
Could anyone help me choose one of these models?
Thank you

I like the AKG 142HD for the quality of the sound.  I only find them to be a little uncomfortable after wearing them for a while.

Hi,
If you like a headphone for a wide variety of genres I would say try the K 242 HD - this headphone has a long history at AKG and his forerunner, the K 240 is one of the most used Headphone in AKG´s history.

kind regards
