I have an iPod touch 64 gb and AKG K370 headphones bought last year, and worked fine......until the upgrade to iOS4! Hp worked very well with apps like Voiceband or Fourtrack (where you must have a good microphone, but after the upgrade the iPod doesn't recorgnize neither the mic nor the remote control!! I hope there's a bugfix for this....

Hi,

It does not work on my white 16 GB iPhone 3G either!
I tested it on 2 other (older, black, 8 GB) iPhones and there everything worked fine. All three devices are running iOS 4.

Hi,

I´ve got the same problem with my beloved K370 and my new iPhone4 (iOS 4.0.2).

The remote doesn´t work properly. When I press the remote-button the only thing happening is a minimal movement (jump forwards and back) of the volume-indicator on the volume-bar.
At first I thought that the stereo-jack wouldn´t get any contact, so I twiddled the jack and in a very few trys the remote works for one buttonpress and starts, stops or skips music. But I failed to get it work for more than one press Sad
Other In-Ears (another competitor/Apple/..) work as intended.

The same K370 still works like a charm on my old iPhone 3G with iOS 3.1.3.

btw. sorry for my "weird" english, its not my native language Wink

I got the same problem here with my newly bought K370 and the iPhone 4. Furthermore I experience some repeating and annoying noise when the k370 is connected without the adapter (which disables the remote function = makes the idea of having a remote useless).

Do you have any new information regarding this issue? If not, I would have to bring it back to the Shop and replace it by another brand which I would not like as I am an AKG customer for a couple of years now.

Hi,
I have the same problems with the K 370, too.

So the remote doesn't work properly and on the iphone itself the volume buttons sometimes don't work well neither: In fact the volume control doesn't stay the same level but jumps, it bounces up and down. Not constantly, but from time to time.

I ask myself what I should do now. I still have one year of warranty coverage. Should I send them back to where I bought them?

Thank you.

Danke.

Hello,

after the update of iOS to 4.2 I still have the same problems with my AKG K370. Furthermore I noticed that songs are interrupted and the next song is played. It's rather annoying and I decided to give the earphones back to where I bought them. I still have warranty.

I'd like to have a statement of AKG.

Thank you.

Hi,

moderator, where are you?

I'd appreciate it very much to have an answer to my questions from you. What causes the persisting problems with my earphones K 370, whose fault is it? Apple's or AKG's?

Which of your earphones are really compatible with the new iphone?

Thank you.

I have exactly the same problem - when using this on the iPhone 4 the volume level seems to sometime fluctuate randomly. Very annoying and I was wondering whether the problem was with the earphones or the phone. It seems that the K 370 are the problem. Could anyone else confirm this issue?

Have the Same Problem. Volume jumps up and down on my iPhone 4 (Works perfect on iPhone 3). Also when i got a call
no one can hear me or i have high noice in my Headphones.

Dear all,

The K 370 should work fine with all I Phones up to 3G.
On the package you will find a sticker where all tested devices are shown.
It will not work with I phone 4.

kind regards
